SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCED FOR WYOMING'S HOT SPRINGS STATE PARK

Wyoming State Parks officials have announced an opportunity for substantial development within Hot Springs State Park and are inviting proposals for innovative projects. The state is seeking a lessee to develop, construct, operate, and maintain a lodging facility, aquatic facility, and conference center within the park. The selected proposal should align with the park's 2016 master plan, focusing on preserving natural resources while enhancing the visitor experience. The required components include an 80-room lodging facility, fresh and mineral water aquatic facilities, food and beverage operations, and conference and banquet facilities. Additionally, proposals may involve the redevelopment and operation of the Star Plunge aquatic facility and Hot Springs Hotel and Spa. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals by March 13, 2024, and the state is eager to review projects contributing to the park's legacy and providing enriching experiences for future generations.

“Our new pool system was born in concept when I attended the Hot Springs Convention in November 2019 in Palm Springs. It was there that I met both Vicky and Steve Beckley, CEO of Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood CO, and established the connection that led to me visiting last winter and observing their state-of-the-art system, upon which ours is modeled. Without that mentorship and technical information, we would not have the incredible system we have today.”
